Process Weave
Terms and Conditions
About these terms
processweave.ca is operated by Process Weave Inc., an Alberta corporation. By using this site or submitting the intake form, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
These terms are not a services agreement
Nothing on this site and nothing in these terms creates a client relationship, a commitment to provide services, or any obligation on us to respond to a brief.
If we work together, that work is governed by a separate written services agreement. Where that agreement and these terms conflict, the services agreement governs.
Content on this site is general information
Everything we publish here — field notes, service descriptions, engagement summaries, reference architectures, templates — is general information about our field. It is not professional, legal, security, or technical advice for your situation, and you should not act on it without advice specific to your environment.
Engagement summaries describe work we have done. They are not a representation that comparable work would produce comparable results for you.
Submitting a brief
Please don’t send us anything sensitive through this form. Credentials, network detail, incident specifics, audit findings, and anything covered by an existing confidentiality obligation should wait until we have a signed confidentiality agreement in place. Describe the shape of the problem and we’ll set that up on the discovery call.
Information you submit through the form is not treated as confidential, and submitting it does not create a confidentiality obligation on our part. We do handle it in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the collection notice shown on the form.
By submitting the form you confirm that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it on behalf of the organization you name.
Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to this site, its hosting, or any connected system
- Scan, probe, or test the vulnerability of our infrastructure, except under section 6
- Interfere with the availability or integrity of the site
- Scrape the site at volume, or use automated tools to submit the intake form
- Submit malicious code, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringing
- Use our content or marks to imply an endorsement or affiliation that doesn’t exist
Reporting a security issue
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in this site, tell us at info@processweave.ca before disclosing it publicly, and give us reasonable time to respond. The inbox is monitored.
We will not pursue action against good-faith security research that stays within these limits: no degradation of service, no access to or exfiltration of data belonging to us or anyone else, no social engineering of our people or vendors, and no public disclosure before we have had a reasonable opportunity to remediate.
Intellectual property
The content of this site, the Process Weave name and wordmark, and our visual identity are owned by or licensed to Process Weave Inc.
You may quote short excerpts and link to our pages with attribution. You may not reproduce substantial portions of our content, use our marks, or present our material as your own, without written permission.
Third-party product names, marks, and logos appearing on this site belong to their respective owners.
Third-party links and vendors
We link to and name third-party products, vendors, and resources. Those references are not endorsements of the linked content, and we are not responsible for third-party sites, their content, or their privacy practices.
Availability
We provide this site on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that it will be available, uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that its content is complete or current. We may change, suspend, or remove any part of it at any time without notice.
To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Process Weave Inc. and its directors, officers, and personnel are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of this site or your reliance on its content — whether the claim is framed in contract, tort, or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised such damages were possible.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to this site is limited to CAD $100.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Alberta or Canadian law, and nothing in these terms purports to shorten any limitation period.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Process Weave Inc. against claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of this site.
Electronic agreement
You agree that clicking to accept these terms, and submitting the intake form, have the same effect as a signature, and that our electronic records of your acceptance are admissible evidence of it.
Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Notice of what we collect and why is given on the form itself, at the point of collection.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta for any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of this site.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted at the time you use the site is the version that applies. Material changes are reflected in the date at the top of this page.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
